Andre Musgrove

André Musgrove (born on February 14th, 1997) is a Bahamian Underwater Filmmaker, Photographer, Cinematographer, Freediver, and Underwater Stunt Performer. His unique and multi-talented skill set includes being as talented in front of the camera as he is behind and has worked on various productions and campaigns for international brands like Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC, GoPro, Canon, Rolex, and Nautica. He is a regular on Discovery Channel Shark Week, including his most recent featured shows, "Mission Shark Dome" and "Monster Mako Under the Rig". André is one of 3 children and the only son of Andria Musgrove and Edwin Musgrove. From the young age of 8, he learned how to free dive from his father through spearfishing. He grew up diving and exploring the different islands of The Bahamas both above and below the water and was passionate about everything the ocean had to offer. Through countless hours spent in the water, he has developed a unique set of underwater skills and talents including a vast knowledge of the ocean and marine wildlife including sharks. André is known online for his unique style of shooting creative concepts underwater in unique underwater environments. He specializes in filming and photographing people, marine wildlife, natural history, commercials, and campaigns either on scuba or while free diving (on breath-hold), allowing closer, less invasive, and more intimate interactions with large megafauna. André has extensive experience working with large sharks like Tiger Sharks, Hammerheads Sharks, Bull Sharks, Reef Sharks, and Lemon Sharks. With over 4,000 logged scuba dives and more than a decade of free-diving, spearfishing, and shark handling experience, he has a distinctive edge for capturing a variety of underwater scenarios.
